Peter Knight is a professor of American Studies at the University of Manchester. His research is on conspiracy theories, and the economic humanities. He has led and contributed to large team research projects in both areas, including the TaCT-FoRSED project.
Together with Michael Butter he co-edits the Routledge book series on Conspiracy Theories. Knight is currently co-authoring a book (with Clare Birchall) titled Everything Is Connected: Conspiracy Theories and the Internet (MIT, forthcoming 2027).
