Marc Guinjoan is Assistant Professor at the Department of Political Science and Public Law, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. His research interests are focused on political and electoral behaviour, public opinion, electoral institutions and climate change. He has also worked on identities and territorial preferences.
Marc Guinjoan got involved in the study of conspiracy theories together with Carol Galais with a study, later on published in Electoral Studies, on how conspiracy theories triggered changes in populist attitudes. During the COVID-19 the two authors also underwent a reserach project on the correlates of COVID-related conspiracy theories, which was published in Representation.
