Arne Schrader studied German, History and Politics as part of the Master of Education programme for secondary school teaching at Leibniz University Hannover. He completed his PhD at the university within the AGORA Political Education research group (Institute for the Didactics of Democracy) and worked there as a research assistant from 2016 to 2022.
Since 2022, he has been a research assistant at the MSB Medical School Berlin and coordinator of transnational education and research projects at the Democracy Centre Vienna. His research focuses on education against racism and anti-Gypsyism, historical-political education, and the field of civic education and health.
