Alejandro earned his MSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science and his PhD from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher in Political Science within the Democracy, Elections, and Citizenship research group at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. His research employs experimental designs and quantitative methods to examine [political] behavior, (mis)perceptions, and uncertainty.
Building on his previous work on political misinformation and fact-checking, Alejandro now investigates conspiracy theories as part of the EU-Horizon project TaCT-FoRSED. His research explores how conspiratorial beliefs shape political behaviour and resistance to corrective information.
